The swab contains a specific growth medium for coliforms and E. coli (reference MS1-CEC) and is used as the initial sample collection and incubation step in MicroSnap Coliform or MicroSnap E. coli assays to produce actionable same-day microbial test results for environmental surfaces, liquids, and food products.
